Day One is in the Books!
WOWEE! What a FANTASTIC day we had today! I am more excited than I can express and cannot wait to see what these kiddos can do! I do want to take a moment to just tell each of you how truly honored I am that you would share your child with me during the school year. I am sure it is not an easy task letting go each year as that means they are a year older and time with them is precious, and I don't want you to think that I am not aware. So in the simplest of terms, thank you. :)

We're WiLd about 2nd grade!
Hello and welcome to our class blog!
I hope that this finds you well and that you had a great summer! I can't believe that in just one week you will all be heading to school for our Open House/Unpack your backpack night and then we are starting a new school year! This summer seemed to fly by, but I hope you made time to have some fun and spend time with family and friends!
My hope is that this blog will serve as just one of the many ways to communicate what is going on at school, in our classroom, and throughout the district. There are many tabs along the top and while I haven't had the chance to update them all, there is still a great deal of information so make sure to check them out.
The beginning of the school year is always very busy so make sure to check in here as well as your child's backpack daily for the first few weeks so you don't miss anything!
